There will always be crude and water...those pump jacks you see are always producing oil and water, so don't worry bout it running out for the next twenty years. CZ

She has been driving for 3 years and trained at Swift. We then teamed for about a year and got an offer we couldn't refuse in the oil fields and have been doing it for almost 2 years.

I moved from water to Hazmat, pay is about the same but I think the work suits me better so I'm happier. Each has its pros and cons and I think that in the end the difficulty and risk is about the same, so that is why the pay is about the same. I think it has less to do with the product hauled and more do with the company, the equipment and the load you get stuck with.

I almost went to work for STI out of Utah. Getting the correct answer to most questions was nearly impossible. I got the feeling they thought 'how dare you ask a valid question.' We want you to believe what we tell you. What's with all the questions?

I am still looking for an outfit to work for and it probably won't be waiting in line in the oil fields.

Id like to know who these companies are that are paying 100k?? Every ad I look at has pretty much topped out at 70k. Not saying they dont exhist but where do they advertise. Rigworker.com doesnt even have 100k driving jobs on there website. Texas and Oklahoma seem to be a better fit for guys wanting to drive the oilfield's. North Dakota pay's well yes, but everything is alot more expensive out there. I seen ad's on cl with travel trailors renting out at 900 a week, are you kidding me, you can make good money but it will go out the door as soon as you make it
