Why do I scratch my gears when I upshift.

If it is just gears 7-10, maybe you should use clutch for those gears only, 7-10 are not that often shifted in heavy traffic.

This is actually close to what i normally do. I usually float low gears and 6th gear, but generally double clutch higher gears. No particular reason, it's just my normal shifting routine.

So don’t let off the fuel so fast. Practice varying your technic till you find that sweet spot.

I always have the engine brake shut off when upshifting. Otherwise the rpms fall much quicker and you can miss your gear. You should just lightly touch the gears and it will slip into gear when the rpms match up. I take a full second to shift, just like i would when double clutching. Are you trying to shift too fast?
Sometimes i will use the clutch if it is the same gear always giving me trouble....some gears go in easier than others consistently....or if it always clunks into a certain gear. -
The Engine RPMs was mentioned in post #12. Maybe you just missed it, no biggie.
