There are 3 songs from my childhood, teens and early 20s that I still find interesting and I think are part of most everybody my age's recollections of this time. One is by Jefferson Airplane.

    The Stones!

Somehow, this turned into a music thread. Subscribed. What about that 90's scene? Recently went into Seattle and all radio stations were immediately on Grunge. Got blasted with SoundGarden, Nirvana, drove up and down the other side of the sound and took a few shots at Cobain's house. They tore down the shed , but we got a picture right up close of where it should have been. Jimi Hendrix is buried in Renton actually. We didn't make it there, but we said what's up to Bruce and Brandon Lee. Great city... way too many good times.

I'd trade Paint It Black for Under My Thumb.

Yes it is. I had a once in a lifetime opportunity to watch Grace Slick sing this song in a more casual setting. We were in North Hollywood while I was in the Air Force stationed at Edwards AFB about 10 years after she sang it at Woodstock. Memories I cherish to this day. To beat it all I was not supposed to have been in the room. Long story!
