Hi Spyder, Taylor, and Skateboard (and all current Mercer o/o's.). When you guys talk about (for example): "I grossed $4000 this week," just to clarify...is that after Mercer's percentage? Would it be listed on the board at our rate (Mercer will have already taken their cut)? So, of that $4000...is that after you pay your diesel? I would assume not. My husband takes home about $11,000 average per month after paying diesel, insurance, company's portion...etc. So that is about $2750 per week plus his diesel costs of about $1750 per week....so would that make his "gross" weekly pay $4500? I know I already asked a similar question on another thread, but I am still not sure. Thank you for your time!

When we talk numbers its the number the truck gets paid, so after mercers cut but before any expenses such as fuel, tolls, etc. You can easily gross 4500 a week here if you want. I rarely do but that's on me, I'm all but retired and only work 2 or 3 days a week most of the time.

Thanks Spyder! That's what I assumed, but I just wanted to be sure. Take care...and drive carefully! We're going west on I80...will pass Gary, IN in an hour or so. :)

Yes he did. You have to have a brain. You have to be hungry. And you have to have a work ethic.

Granted this post is a little old but I have a question. If there is all of this "secret" and "cloak and dagger" type stuff going on, then how do you know about it if it's so secret and all?
