My only guess the batteries might be bad. If you turn the temperature setting in sleeper to coldest setting It should start the engine.

I had trouble with mine when truck was new the electric a/c would die and the engine would not start to recharge batteries. They checked the batteries behind the sleeper and several of them were bad from the factory. Also I'm at 234,000 miles and on second set of batteries already

My optimized Idol will start the truck and within a second and a half the truck shuts off and then does the process again until the key needs to be recycled. Anybody have any ideas on this?

Recent fuel filter change? I had this issue with a freightliner and after priming the fuel lines it went away.

It only does it when the temperature in bunk is set at about the 2 o'clock position or all the way to cold. I will ask shop.

Because it's an ill designed POS with the only real purpose being it's a selling point to the mega fleet companies' bean counters.

Actually it is great for saving fuel. This is the first time I have had issues with it.

The early models were definitely POS, but had 1 paired with an ECU at Wilson and it wasn't bad. Takes some getting used to like having a reefer, but otherwise no issues.
