Sorry to be a little vague in my previous response but do check this site out: www.truckflix.com/stats/illinois Provides you the name of Carrier, tel/fax, address, number of trucks, number of trailers, total miles per year that the company averages and number of drivers. Aim High

Figured it would be quicker, easier, and cheaper for a company to just tell you that you've been denied, even if just a form letter in email, than to constantly see who's calling and trying to pretend nobody home.

I prefer to not work for a company that is under orders to not talk to someone, even if its someone that was denied. Lack of communication is bs and not worth my stress or time. Recognize it quick, and move on to the next company.

Come on now, even though it's rude, this happens in today's society. On the flip side, how many prospective employees say they will be at orientation and never show up ? Or call ? Recruiters are fishing and so are prospective drivers. Kinda like being dumped by your girlfriend. She could tell you face to face to get lost, or, tell you over the phone, or text you, or IGNORE you ! No matter how she does it, you're history, right ? :smt058

I've had the same problem. So is it safe to say that in the trucking industry the term "recruiter" is an oxymoron?
