yeah I was wondering what sort of electronic gizmo was under those orange dots at the PFJ. Makes sense though, let's a driver know if whether to bother to come in if there is not parking.

It's currently in the test phase at several locations. Once the test phase is completed at the test lications and the software is fully operational, they have plans to take it nation wide.

It's primarily to help you decide whether to stop or not. If there's no parking left, why waist your time making endless loops around a full parking lot hoping someone leaves.

It's not gonna solve the lack of parking issue... I'll say that but it's a try so you won't waste a second of your Elog time. In your soon to be governed 55-65 mph truck... Should I say local job. Lol

What's the point? Loves designs it's parking lots so the least amount of trucks possible can park there.

Loves certainly operates under a quantity over quality protocol. Rather than spending money to expand existing locations and make them more desirable to park (laundry, drivers lounge, more showers, sit down restaurant even if some kind of chain, etc) they just open more gas stations on roids with truck parking. Which is why there's only 50ish spots at most of them, they aren't designed to handle any more volume.

I'm certainly not complaining about them adding locations to increase parking, I just wish they'd put a little into increasing their "usefulness" if you will. I'd probably stop a lot more often if they did.

Wow, Boggerman, you're taking away all of our fun! I was hoping to see what other grand conspiracies could arise from the original post. So far, my favorite was the Febreeze comparison... !

Thanks, however, for getting the skinny on this. Will their system automatically determine open spaces by some sort of sensor? Interesting times we're living in...
