Williams Transport (Greta NB)

Loaded and headed back west!! Drop in Phoenix tomorrow and hook to a trailer waiting to go back to Omaha.. I love ping ponging!! Lol

 

Made it back to Omaha, along the way the check engine lights came on.. 10% loss of emissions was what the computer started.. So stopped in Lincoln at Freightliner, 6 hrs later the doser was changed and we were back on the road..

Dropped in Omaha at Nebraska Funiture Mart, hooked an empty to pull over to Lala to drop in the yard.. Now time to dead head 2 hrs south for a little R and R and I'll head back to Omaha Thursday to pickup a load headed back to Turlock California...

Not to bad to this point, still adjusting to how they do things.. I think when they get some Kenworths in I'll think about jumping into one of them.. Working for an independent contractor involves to much duplication of effort, prefer to only deal with one person, not 2... But besides that this has been pretty easy job.

Also the prepass came in so hopefully I'll get to blow by 80% of the scales..

I see the weather folks are calling for the storm of the century next week.. they say 12 to 20 inches of snow, so I'd guess that would mean another week of sunshine.. lol

 

Well was going to go get my trailer and head out to California when dispatche called and asked if I could help another driver out.. I guess the guy has a load of bananas headed to AGW in NB.. He had a blow out in Oklahoma somewhere and die to the langth of the repair will not make his drop.. So before I roll out to Cali, I will run to Belleville KS and grab his trailer to make tonight's appointment..

We always have to remember the most consistent part of Trucking is the inconsistency .. haha // Glad I'm in a place to help another driver..
