had mine done 40 years ago as X-ray showed they were going to give me issues..if you follow doctors instructions you dont end up with infection or dry socket..removal covered free by Canada’s healthcare…

Nope. Not free unless you want to be awake for the experience. Cost a few hundred bucks to get knocked out and that isn't covered.

When did you do this, Pull your own teeth? Are you sure there are the roots still in your gums? You should go to the dentist and have him check it out, the reason being, if it becomes infected it is really dangerous because they say it can go to your heart and infect it. What did you use, a pair of pliers ? jeeeze.....You were reading TTR and just yanked them out ? LOL But at least let a Dentist look at your work, we don't want to lose you here.

Back in 1976, I had a yearly dental appointment. This was mandated by the Air Force. The dentist advised me to get mine removed. I don't remember everything he said, but I was scheduled for it about a week later. The dentist was a young guy and advised me to let him use gas. Within 6 months, everything was healed nicely. Oh, and that gas is gooooooooood!:D:D:D:D

I hate that stuff. Give me novacaine.....numbs it Lots and lots of novacaine. And you don't have to worry about it altering your consciousness. You just run around drooling for awhile.

Got mine removed at 20. No real issues. The pain killers didn't really work. To be fair, I was eating regular food the day after getting them cut out. The pain left for good once I smoked a doobie.

Maybe in your province or if the doctor did not state it was required surgery, as mine did. Another difference was mine was done in a hospital. Many now are done in the dentists chair.

I've still got all of mine. They've never given me a problem, but one of my sons had to have all four of his removed. He was down for a day or two, but at 18 you bounce back pretty quick.

I had to have two cut out. One hurt every summer for over 10 years then it’d quit..
finally one day went to dentist, he said it was infected bad, had to give penicillin shot, then pills. Two weeks later paid a “specialist” 850 to cut it out. Next year other hurt, had to get it cut out.

Dentist said on first one I almost waited to long with infection, I could a died… I didn’t care one way or another. You wanna interrogate someone go to pulling teeth, one hand squeezing the top of your head, the other with a set of pliers, squeezing and pulling while also squeezing your head.
