I'm looking at Ptl, SRT, and western express. Any ideas?

Lot of food grade tanker outfits in Cedar Rapids...try something different maybe?

Keep adding to the list. You're working from the ground up; you should work the other way. And look as smaller, less well-known carriers. With your experience, even if it's old, you should have a better shot there, I think.

Pardon me, but with 14 years experience, why would you even consider these companies? Either way, good luck to you.

Unfortunately I have some negative reports on DAC. I always thought the grass was greener on the other side. I've gotten more stabe over the last year. Another thing is some companies tell lies on DAC and make you look bad

agree with others with 14 yrs of exp i would be looking at the smaller companies. most of them dont use DAC.
you can do better than a mega starting you at 31 CPM

Have you looked at Art Pape in Dubuque?
Another small one is Mansur trucking in Janesville Wi.
Cliff Viesman (sp) is a smaller food grade tanker outfit with a terminal in Cedar Rapids.
Kane transport is a hazmat tanker outfit and also runs some flatbed freight in the Midwest. I think their headquarters is in Sauk Center MN but they hire in IA, WI & IL too. I think they've got a fuel drop lots around.
Tan Tara is a smaller flatbed outfit located right in your backyard.
All of those are smaller companies.

You're located on a main vein being in the Quad cities with I80 running through there so something should pop up. There should be a lot of options there.
    Good Luck
