That's funny, I'll tell the company I can't make delivery on time because I'm stopping to workout. You know you have a time to pickup or delivery a load. If you have the time, go ahead and workout all you want. You also know driving a company truck, they plan you day out and expect you do drive miles and pick and deliver loads. They don't plan on you stopped and working out. So you can work out in your truck or at the truck stop during your time off. That usually 10 hours. If you want to make money you have to keep the truck moving. So it's a driver choice, you only have so much free time.

Well when you book your own loads you can squeeze in an hour to workout. It's a new year , put down that 64 oz barrel of soda lol I see to many drivers knocking on deaths door out here , here's to a healthy 2020 !Kingty9183 and BigDog Trucker Thank this.

Once a week at either shipper/reciever, they load/unload you fast and you stay in shape, a bit sore at first, but you get used to it, and jog around truck and trailer a bit -
Adjustable dumbells (quick adjust not the spin on). Put a pull up bar in the truck and use it. Take walks or runs at stops. Dont stuff garbage in your mouth.
Plenty of time to work out waiting at shippers if you pull a Reefer. -
if they plan your day out and exact route for you then your not driving a truck. They just expect that load to be there on time

They plan, but they usually over book the loads or stuff goes wrong. The other day I had 4:30 pick up. I show up at 4:30 and their are 5 trucks in front of me waiting to get loaded also. Takes them 3.5 hours the get me loaded. Then with the 14 hour day limit I could only drive more 2 hours. So you stop at 10pm. So i can leave at 8 am. The load load was supposed to deliver at 9am and I'm still like 350 miles away. They book the loads faster then you can drive the truck and get loaded.
