Hey everyone, I been looking around at different companies trying to get a fix on who I want to go with. I just finished cdl school in December and have a couple of companies I'm feeling pretty good about but started reading about prime so I was wondering about them. My thing though is I have a accident from August 2012 that was a improper lane change and not sure if this would disqualify me from working for prime.
The reason I'm not sure is because the other companies I applied for all said no problem but when I talked to jim Palmer trucking they said I couldn't get on with them till it's 5 years I believe. I know Jim Palmer has some relation to prime so wasn't sure if they would make a big deal about it or if they had the same hiring standards. I would just talk to a recruiter but it's the weekend and was seeing what info I could gather before I call on Monday lol.
Would prime hire me ?

Jim Palmer and Henderson, also Wil-Trans - all affiliated.

Was accident in commercial vehicle?
-
No this was in my personal vehicle back when I was in the armyblairandgretchen Thanks this.

There are enough differences in policy between them I think you would need to call Prime and find out. Or Henderson.

Was the accident on a Military base?
Those wont show up on records (mvr).
But if its on MVR from your state then you have to write it on applications. Companies have insurance companies that tell them how far back they check mvr. -
Yeah, gonna call Monday and see what they say. Was just a little impatient since it's the weekend lol

It
wasn't on base, it was in Fayetteville nc back in 2012. It was also a Ohio license, I have a Texas one now but I doubt that matters lol -
Call a Prime recruiter man.

Prime is desperate to fill their trucks so it's worth applying
