Would this equipment pass DOT inspections?

Geez OP, this is the LAST time I loan you my trailer.

 

I wouldn't run it. It's nothing more than an invitation for inspection. But I don't see any obvious violations.

The determining factor is the inspecting officers interpretation of the regulation. The tire is legal IMO.

 

Junk , to many other dialed in outfits to choose from.

 

Yet we have all seen stuff like that roll right through a scale house.

 

True but we have also seen brand new trucks fresh off the factory line get a level 1 colonoscopy and redtagged. Its the gooberment. Maximum cost for minimum efficency.

 

You'll get a lot of things noted......but I've seem worse. You're CSA score would definitely take a hit. I'm sure they will come up with a regulation for excessive use of zip ties.

 

I've failed inspections for less.. But I don't see any problems other then tires...

 

Contrary to the caption, if his makeshift mudflaps looked like this, he would be guaranteed to get the bypass lane at the scale.

Why do you care if it’s your former company? Once ya get a divorce man, just move on. It doesn’t matter who your ex is seeing, what they’re doing, etc… Just be glad they’re out of your life.

You should be taking pictures of your new situation. Let’s see that shiny new rig. Show us the 6” thick brake shoes and the fresh lube dripping from the chassis, etc… Oh wow, I’m suddenly aroused.
