Never thought I would defend a Werner driver, but he didn't do anything wrong. If you look at the road signs it appears that they are approaching an exit so the middle lane is the safest place to be, reducing interaction with merging traffic. If the other truck can't back off and wait until after the interchange, that is took bad for him. Also, to the idiot with the dash cam, you passed two disabled vehicles on the right shoulder without moving over, as required by law in all 50 states now, so you are not any better than the yahoo in the truck that forced Werner over into the right lane.
This video just shows the complete lack of professionalism, respect, and understanding of the rules of the road that is prevalent today. Don't give me the slow traffic keep right crap either, unless he had been in that lane for miles before the exit and disabled vehicles on the shoulder he has as much right to be there as any one else, and the speed limit is just that, a upper limit, not the minimum speed you need to do to be out of the right lane. And, before you say it, no I don't drive for a mega fleet, I am an independent with a left lane truck but I know how and when to use the extra speed/power and this is not one of those times.77smartin, BrenYoda883, gpsman and 2 others Thank this. -
I didn't always enjoy the way morons who know less than nothing about driving are so frequently willing to offer their driving advice. Today, video lends it such credibility.
77smartin and brian991219 Thank this. -
Maybe passing them would ease your aggravation, if complying with speed limits is out of the question.

White passing truck is road rage and I wish he got lit up for it. No excuse for road rage like that. Period. Doesn't matter what Werner driver was doing it doesn't justify road rage.
That white truck will be the one I see wrecked some day. Rage like that will catch him like it always catches up to drivers like that.drvrtech77 Thanks this. -
The white truck is also guilty of following too closely. So besides reckless driving/road rage ticket, he should get a tailgating ticket as well. And maybe he didn't signal his lane change? That would be a third ticket if he didn't. Meanwhile, the Werner driver broke no law and was justified for being in the middle lane since there were cars on the shoulder.
Yet the guy in the white truck is calling out the Werner driver for being a butt. And that my friends is what is called PRIDE. As the saying goes, when you point the finger at someone else, you got three pointing back at you!
Edit to add: I think we get so used to seeing big rigs tailgating other trucks and cars, day in and day out, that it doesn't even phase us when we see it (like in this video). But somehow everyone's memory is jogged when we come across a smokey on the interstate. Then everybody backs off and plays nice.Last edited: Feb 9, 2015

Don't forget, they were in GA...add a 3rd lane violation as well.
please....please....please Mr. White International...do that to me!!! I won't flinch, you'll make contact, the damaged bodywork will get into my left steer tire...and my truck will suddenly veer left doing an 18-wheel PIT maneuver...pushing you into the median and possibly rolling you...or at least that is what the crash investigator will determine. Couple that with my dash-cam data and then you're looking at jail time for reckless operation, attempted vehicular assault, reckless endangerment...then after the legal system get done with you, my lawyer and my company's lawyers will take all you, your kids and maybe what your grand kids have. And my company's lawyers are so good, they could have gotten compensation from the Romans for Christ's death...once you get out, you wouldn't have enough credit or collateral to buy a Sharpie marker to make a 'will work for food' sign....you'll have to push a school kid off his bike and take his lunch money...meanwhile I'll be sitting on my new fishing boat with a fishing pole in one hand and a diet Pepsi in the other because I will be so traumatized by the accident I wouldn't be able to look at another big truck without peeing myself...and since they're everywhere, I won't be able to travel on normal roads...I'll need millions to pay for all the stuff that will have to come via a small delivery van or car...no trucks.
C'mon big boy...show me how big and bad you are!!!
O.K., I'll hang up my digital CB mic now before anyone see's me...drvrtech77 and tucker Thank this. -
Therein lies the problem. They drive right at the speed limit or slower, are not attempting to pass, just riding along without a care in the world or courtesy for other drivers.
Cannot pass without the possibility of a 3rd lane violation.
I say 99% of the time they do not have a radio, never look in their mirror and is always some type of foreign national. -
My first impression is that the driver in the right lane with the dash cam is a total tool and the root cause of this fiasco. I'm surprised he posted it.
It's obvious the driver with the dash cam wasn't passing Werner on the right, seems like Werner was attempting to pass in the middle lane and the driver getting passed didn't have two functioning brain cells and a synapse to figure out he needed to back off his speed a touch to let Werner get over and let the white International through. If you are getting passed and are in a governed truck, don't match speed for mile after mile, back off and let traffic flow on through.
Werner never had enough clearance to come back to the right lane during the video until he was being forced over by the "Road Rager".ZhenyaP1991, Vito, kona911 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Dashcam is the fool, looks like he can't maintain a steady speed and governed Werner didn't want to come over too close in front of him, in case he realized he could run faster than a Werner truck???
But I have a dashcam too and agree with Snackbar on the other driver, My back hurts just watching this, I Better Call Saul.......Tuco!
