Would you quit this way?

Let me ask you this, do you think that if they were going to fire you, they would give you notice, or write you a poem? So instead of them firing you, you are actually firing them, just run, and run fast and find another home why waste time and energy?

 

Should the time come where I would actually be terminated from a job, I would hope a limerick would be involved.

 

As long as it was written on the envelope the severance check is in.

 

I guess it's better then a bag of poop on fire.

 

Shouldn't a poem rhyme?

I wrote this poem to bid farewell,
To a mega carrier that put me under a spell,
Promises of fame and fortune but not torture,
That proved to be nothing more than manure,
Sitting around waiting for a load,
At truck stops with no money to blow,
Moving on to a greener pasture,
Maybe even a truck that goes a lil faster,
To this company I say good bye,
Swift Transportation it was not a good high.


Maybe I've simply got too much time on this home time...
I'm actually correcting a poem!
So sad.

 

Just make it more short and sweet.

"Roses are Red, Violets are Blue...
DM's like you belong in a zoo...
Don't be mad, I will be there too...
Not in the cage, but laughing at you!"

OR

"Twinkle, twinkle little star...
I want to hit you with a Large Car...
Throw you off a building so high....
Hope you break your neck and die!"

In all seriousness, sometimes it is best to not go away mad, but just go away and never look back!

 

Swift they trained two drivers,
They also bought a truck,
They put them on the interstate
Then couldn't give a ___________

 

Just because someone practices bad behavior, doesn't mean we need to follow suit. Doing the right thing is hard sometimes, which is why a lot don't do it. Self respect is a wonderful quality. Take the high road.....
