    Tired is an understatement.

For some reason, my body woke up around 10pm last night. I couldn't get back to sleep. So, I finished my delivery this morning, then brought an empty back to the yard.

Then, I moved out of the loaner tractor into my new KW T680. Less than 900 miles on the odometer.

So, I have some arranging to do, then grab a bite to eat and crash.

    More later.

I saw an Knight rig all wrapped up with an Oshkosh military vehicle in the center median and an Abilene rig in the right northbound median all were headed south just east of Wythville last Sunday.

    Prayers for all involved.

Passing by Wright's yard the other afternoon on my way home I seen an older guy doing a walk around on one of their trucks. If he had been wearing red I would have sworn he was Santa Clause complete with a white bushy beard.

The 71 year old owner of the Oshkosh retired military truck decided at the last minute not to take the exit he was on, swerved back in the right travel lane, got t/boned by the Knight truck, was killed and the Abilene truck was going a little too fast for conditions, took the median and jackknifed across to the other side.

    Lonesome and KD5AXG Thank this.

I just heard a rumor that legislators were trying to get the speed sensors connected with our ELDs in order to make it so that if we moved our rigs at all, the ELD would change duty status to "On duty: Driving".

Anyone know of or heard about this? I'm not finding anything about it online.

It's suppose to be over 5 mph. If the did, it might be what they take after they gave us more leeway on pc use.

Ours are set at 3 miles, speed doesn't matter.

I wonder what they will want to take away from us next.
