Okay. I admit, I have one complaint about Wright. And, it isn't all their fault.

Our ELDs. We use Rand Mcnally TND 760s. State of the art from 1987. Crap equipment. No better way to put it. They are cell service connected. Sprint Network....No external antenna, nor provisions for an external antenna. Wright got screwed when Rand McNally sold these to them. If the unit loses signal, it loses GPS. If it fails to regain the signal, the unit will reboot, no matter what duty status you are in.

Now, for the record, these are the only ELDs I've used since the mandate went into effect. I don't recall what system Abilene used while I was driving for them. But I also don't remember any connection issues.

Okay, rant over. I'm spending the night at the Creek travel center at exit 54 of I-65 in Alabama. I'm headed to Richmond, IN for a Thursday delivery.

    Stay safe out there...

The NE not only needs more truck stops, but, they also need truck stops with bars attached or nearby as well.

I got a good run up to Washington state. Then back to NC.

Currently about 40 miles east of Denver. I so love it out here.

    AUfan78 and Finfn1372 Thank this.

My 2nd year anniversary was yesterday.

I can still say with all honesty that Wright Transportation is the best employer I've ever had. And, can still highly recommend them to drive for if you live in or close to Mobile.

That being said, my life has changed.

I have moved back to Texas, my first grandchild is due in September, and I have been offered another opportunity.

    More as things develop.

Well, I’m back at Wright. The local gig didn’t pan out.

Peace, love and safe miles to you all.

I live not too far from Mobile, I have to admit I was surprised seeing a forum here about Wright, considering it's a smaller outfit. They have a good reputation from what I heard. I'm still new to the industry but look forward to applying there once I have one year of experience. Thanks for posting this forum.
