Just seeing this makes my blood boil. No wonder it's been sitting 14 hours.
WTF?

It's Florida everyone with common sense knows there's no money coming out of there only going in for good money 99% of the time you need to deadhead out of Florida

$1 for a reefer load leaving Florida. Have we really sunk that low?
If we have, it is time to park and drive for someone else. That is beyond ridiculous. I bet they billed 2800 for that.LandslideRich and BoostedTeg Thank this. -

It's a lot more reasonable than you guys are giving it credit for. NC is decent this time of year and FL is the worst of the worst. FL to MA for a dollar a mile? You must be on crack. FL to South Texas for a buck a mile? Yes please. NC isn't THAT good so I'd be expecting to pay closer 800... But it's not crazy if the cabbage load is ready to go and the delivery is flexible.
Remember that you NEED to be making VERY good money going into FL. If you run FL you should be making at least 3/4 of the money going in because you're going to be lucky to make 1/4 coming back out.TequilaSunrise and LandslideRich Thank this. -
I will never pull refrigerated loads for that rate. On principle.

Find something that will load quickly and get empty quickly where you need to go and take the money.
EDIT: Of course also look as far north as Atlanta to find a load that actually loads quickly and unloads quickly for the money. Usually the GA sheds pay almost exactly the same money as the FL ones.Last edited: Jan 31, 2017
