Yeah, the closest Buc-ees is in Florence, which is 80 miles each way. Oddly enough I used to run that town but they don't allow tractor trailers.

I did find the bottle online. But I totally appreciate you reaching out. It's been a complete nightmare for my entire week and any friendly gesture or outreach is appreciated.

Yellow lays off portions of at least 3 major corporate teams - FreightWaves

    • Yellow Chief Information Officer Annlea Rumfola informed her team of some 300 technology employees that Friday was their last day, according to an employee on the call.
    • Steve Selvig, vice president of customer care at Yellow, informed an unknown number of customer service employees that Friday was their last day, according to an employee on the call and a local news publication.
    • Yellow Chief Commercial Officer Jason Bergman informed the following teams that Friday would be their last day: local sales divisions 1, 2 and 4; all inside sales; multiple regions of corporate sales; exhibit operations managers; and Yellow third-party logistics sales. This came from two employees on the call. FreightWaves reviewed screenshots of emails sent before and a recording of the call.
    It's done

I pray we don't have this truck that long, the ABS light is finicky and the truck is manual, whereas all the new team trucks coming in are auto.

..YES I can drive a 10 speed just fine, it's my co-driver who grinds, bounces and bangs through every other gear. Can't even think about sleeping until she's hit the cruise control. To her credit she's gotten better over the past year, but being a stubborn latina she refuses to let me teach her how to float or rev-match. I'm worried the transmission won't make it another 3 months.

I'm just twiddling my thumbs until the day my manager calls with a "Truck 2554XXX just came in, do you want it?"

Siinman, bzinger and gentleroger Thank this.

It's over. My dispatcher just called me and said they are no longer needed.
