I usually don't take a combative posture when responding to comments. But I have nothing but contempt for your comment and the comment you are responding to.

I had the equivalent of two drinks on my day off in my blood system. To say I was "drunk" is extremely dismissive.

    My TM just called me.

Effective 12 PM today my company is no more. He said that a personal notification was more proper than to hear it on the internet. He resigned his position and he is no longer my boss. It's over.

This is on the gate at 104. Employees are apparently getting the calls as I type.

This is a stupid question but, for those that have retired from Yellow years ago, is their pension safe?

I would think most likely because the retiree can transfer it to trust fund, bank etc.

Things can always get worse man. Just remember it can always get better as well. I have been in your shoes so many times and had thought about giving up. For some reason it turns out I am a gluten to punishment and seem to thrive afterwords. I do my best work when things go bad and I dig in and come out the other side. Sure plenty of us here are here anytime you need to blow off some steam.

I am glad someone figured out who you was and had a wellness check on you as well. I had thought you might have had enough as well so glad to see you back and fighting the good fight called life!

Well, there's no reason to leave us.
Heck, half the guys here don't drive anymore (myself included). It's a community of friends and like minded degenerates.
    Stick around.
    And good luck.

Shouldn't be. The pension is third party. The company went under. There should be no interruption in pension. Not sure about the people getting ready to retire. They might get some of it.
