Yellow Freight closure thread

I'm unaware of Yellow having one. But alot of companies did.

 

Talked to my buddy that drives for kemps dairy in Minneapolis, yes they are union....and today they hired 1 yrc driver and are interviewing another...if you are near Minneapolis they are looking for more drivers still ...good pay and Benny's but it definitely isn't 9 to 5 Monday thru Friday.

 

Guess there probably isn't a driver shortage no more, lol. This is pretty sad but lessons will hopefully be learned from this one, don't take government bailouts lol.

 

And our tax money was used to "help" a failed company.

 

And the sooner we get over it, the happier we'll be.
Theys a whole lotta stuff we bought that I wouldn't have, but they didn't ask my opinion.
So, we'll all move on.

 

Never worked for yrc or any of its affiliates but I feel bad for those people !

I remember people warning about this when they bailed out the car companies. Not the first Chrysler bailout, which I believe was really a loan.
But the bigger bailout, when the CEOs all flew on private jets to DC.
Some folks, the "loonies", the "fringe" the mainstream media called them, warned that once we let this happen, it wouldn't stop happening.
They were right.

Yrc Reimer has just shut down all Canadian operations also no idea how many drivers are affected
