I dont know, he accurately described roadrunners motivations, based on nothing but the resume.
Onboarding new people even if theyre fully trained for a task is always costly, got to train what company procedures are, theres extra paperwork, show the local ropes.
The interviewer only made a mistake in not spotting the lie.

Yes I lied. I lied about my motivation to obtain a new position of employment. I did never misrepresent my qualifications, just my intentions.
I could be placed at a Chick-Fil-A for a year and exceed to the position of a team leader (which I did in 2003).
You can not possibly fault me for wanting to find new employment.PaulMinternational, Albertaflatbed, JoeyJunk and 8 others Thank this. -
The important question.
Looks like it would be the TM. However, getting things "up and running" usually takes longer than expected.
Go with Coolio, being upfront that you might have another gig come up with an old coworker.
He might be alright with only having you for two or three months just to have the truck moving.
Not like he is enrolling you in insurance and paying your SS and will have to disenroll you in a few months.hope not dumb twucker, JoeyJunk, dwells40 and 1 other person Thank this. -

Im not bagging on you for looking for work. In light of what you posted before, it doesnt look like you would hesitate to jump ship if something else was available. Am i wrong?
I was pushing back on mcuzi said about the interview guy being a red flag, when i see the interviewer as having literally done his job, and quite well, outside of pushing you on if this was going to be long term or just a paycheck for you.
Ive been the one hiring, firing, and certainly had plenty of interviews going in with me as the hire. I understand the need for a paycheck, but i hope even in todays economy you can find a place yould be happy staying at rather than just chasing greener pasturesJoeyJunk, road_runner, Mr.X and 5 others Thank this. -
