Love that place. Winter with lots of snow, see bald eagles cruising the river. Go out at midnight with my dog (no dogs allowed on the grassy area) and see all kinds of wildlife out there, Saw a family of racoons, my dog wanted to go play with them. Have seen deer out there too eating the soft grass, again my dog just wanted to play but they all ran away.

That is one of my main stops on my way home to Grants Pass and if your there at night you might get to see a small pack of foxes running around. I have met them twice, cute little things.

I don't normally go this far north I was just picking up a, new to me trailer but I kinda like the OTR life. Getting paid to travel is a plus. I will have to go that way at winter now, Thank you!

She had her own window in the sleeper. That window was her TV. When I slept, she kept guard lookout. If she ever saw a critter out there it was go bark time because she wanted out to go play with whatever critter. A few times a person might be standing a little too close to the truck and she would light them up.

That particular rest area, one night she would not stop barking, we saw what looked like a mink or ferret looking animal over by the trash cans. Abby was totally keyed up on the shadowy figure whatever it was.
