Very unprofessional they are not willing to take a loss all losses will be passed on to the driver. They all cover each other back. They can pretty much do what they want to you with no consequences. And if you are lease after about 5 months with them expect whatever you were taking home to decrease by about 30%. They will try to get you to do work for free and make you feel like that is what you are supposed to do

Pros

Nice equipment

Cons

Poor payout and incompetent staff and I mean all of them except the lady that does payroll Cathy. And payroll is the only people that will answer the phone

I was there for 4 months as a Lease Op from May to September 2023. They do not give you enough loads to bring home any money home. Loads be just enough to pay truck payment and expenses. DONT DO LEASE OPP WITH THIS COMPANY. Also if you do decide to lease opp with this company, do not set up any owner operator accounts thru them. YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY SAY SO WITH THAT MONEY THAT THEY TAKE OUT.

Pros

Will keep u running alot

Cons

Loads dont pay much

Poor Dispatch, low miles with a bunch of empty promises. Do not recommend. This company will leave you wishing you never drove a truck.

I had freightline that would not pass dot inspection because of the brakes I took the to a loves as they told me and love’s said that the truck needed to go to freightliner because they couldn’t fix it so truck went to the dealership and there it was for almost two months no money but they still charging me for a truck that I’m not driving they would not give me any money to pay my bills I was so far behind because of this truck it was unreal so when my landlord filed for eviction I told them that I was going to be homeless all they that I’m to far behind to give any but if would have given me a better truck i would’ve been able to pay my bills don’t go to this company if you want money

Lease driver- don’t think it would change as a company driver. usually everyone I talk to doesn’t seem to like working here. Disorganized, seem to control how much you make per week, communication is horrible. The way the planner does the planning if you call it that isn’t good at all. Constantly going negative every week and not getting a paycheck. It’s extremely stressful, they say it’s the market. If you have customer established accounts then that shouldn’t effect as much, because it’s not off the spot market.

Pros

Good equipment Nice terminal Fleet manager is alright

Cons

Pay could be better Average between $800-1,800/ week after expenses. Feel rushed getting to the next load

Bay and Bay Transportation - An Absolutely Horrible Company for Drivers

BAY AND BAY TRANSPORTATION - AN ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE COMPANY FOR DRIVERS !

.....unfortunately all of the reviews on the main Bay and Bay page were posted by senior managers at Bay and Bay - They told me this themselves - none of these reviews come from real Bay and Bay drivers.....I am a real Bay and Bay driver - the following is WHAT'S REALLY GOING ON AT Bay and Bay: Bay and Bay goes thru drivers like water every single week because they pay their drivers 25 cents per mile and drivers quit the minute they find out what's really going on!!!......THEY DON'T TELL YOU THIS AT ORIENTATION ! EVERY MONDAY THEY HAVE A NEW ORIENTATION CLASS OF 12-20 NEW DRIVERS. I am the only one left at Bay and Bay from my orientation class of 12 drivers just 4 months ago! ........and am leaving this week ! .......at orientation one of their manager-crooks will walk in on the 2nd day and tell you the following: "we here at Bay and Bay use a driver accounting system known as P3" - what P3 is is simply an excuse for them to pay their drivers 25 cents per mile instead of the rate they tell you you'll get !!......they tell you in orientation that you'll get 2,800 miles/ week at about 40 cents per mile.....WHAT THEY DON'T TELL YOU IS THAT THEY WILL NEVER GIVE YOU 2,800 MILES PER WEEK !! - what you get instead is 1,200 miles / week , 1,500 miles per week, 1800 miles per week, etc and THEY THEN TELL YOU "OH - YOU DIDN'T DRIVE 2,800 MILES THIS WEEK - SO WE HAVE TO PUT YOU INTO P3 STATUS ( P3 MEANS THEY NOW PAY YOU 25 CPM INSTEAD OF WHAT THEY TOLD YOU AT ORIENTATION !!) - Bay and Bay is sham-company that ROBS DRIVERS EVERY SINGLE WEEK. This company is a thief - FIND YOURSELF A REAL COMPANY WHERE YOU'LL MAKE MORE THAN $300 / WEEK. That is the real deal on Bay and Bay. Drivers should never waste their time with this company. Do not waste your money on this company ! Drivers beware. Caveat Emptor !

Bay & Bay

Going off of what I've seen at their company in the last 8 years, they are running stronger than ever right now. New equipment, new customers, new ventures. Good stuff!
