Good morning, please do not haul freight for this company if you are a Owner operator. 5 weeks and accounts payable no solving my invoice yet. Very Difficult to deal with them.

I came on as lease purchase,huge mistake. Everyone i dealt with in operations and orientation was courteous and professional. Once I got running I realized I made a terrible mistake. Brought truck back within 2 weeks of signing for it and eventually after much hassle and payroll drama, was able to run as a company driver with a new d.m. , everything was great as a company guy, my DM was outstanding and the north south Miles were great. I couldn't get over they hammering they gave me for leasing a rig initially and all the bills that trickled in after returning the unit. In addition the company trucks were featureless, slow freightliner with no balls and high mileage. I would not recommend anyone deal with these folks as they have been bought out by a private equity firm and seem to be experiencing some difficulty internally. I had my fuel card shut off multiple times when I was unwilling to "play ball". Still in all fairness the people were respectful during our conversations even when we were at odds and the last dispatcher I had was in fact a stud. Did not receive detention pay over the 2 Mos I was there until the very last week when I squawked about it.

Pros

North South Miles, Professional and respectful communication, they do in fact get you home come #### or high water.

Cons

Predatory Lease purchase, unpaid detention time, suspect safety scores and scrutiny at scale houses.

Don’t make this mistake . Pay worse than slavery.Honestly. Have no issues with being that way with there employees. Unbelievable what you are dealing with working for them.

The equipment is good the pay on lease side all depends on if corporate like you or not you can make decent money but they only allow certain people to do that. Company that will retaliate if they dont agree with something you are complaining about and all of there staff work together they have each others back . So changing dispatch only makes things worse

Can't reach anyone when they know what you are calling about. Corporate has a nonchalant attitude towards drivers they really can care less what u are saying. They will just ask you are you going to run load or not just overall very unprofessional. I could go on and on. If they dont like you you will know because they will not allow you to make money as a lease driver. They try to starve you out and make u quit

BAY AND BAY TRANSPORTATION - AN ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE COMPANY FOR DRIVERS !

.....unfortunately all of the reviews on the main Bay and Bay page were posted by senior managers at Bay and Bay - They told me this themselves - none of these reviews come from real Bay and Bay drivers.....I am a real Bay and Bay driver - the following is WHAT'S REALLY GOING ON AT Bay and Bay: Bay and Bay goes thru drivers like water every single week because they pay their drivers 25 cents per mile and drivers quit the minute they find out what's really going on!!!......THEY DON'T TELL YOU THIS AT ORIENTATION ! EVERY MONDAY THEY HAVE A NEW ORIENTATION CLASS OF 12-20 NEW DRIVERS. I am the only one left at Bay and Bay from my orientation class of 12 drivers just 4 months ago! ........and am leaving this week ! .......at orientation one of their manager-crooks will walk in on the 2nd day and tell you the following: "we here at Bay and Bay use a driver accounting system known as P3" - what P3 is is simply an excuse for them to pay their drivers 25 cents per mile instead of the rate they tell you you'll get !!......they tell you in orientation that you'll get 2,800 miles/ week at about 40 cents per mile.....WHAT THEY DON'T TELL YOU IS THAT THEY WILL NEVER GIVE YOU 2,800 MILES PER WEEK !! - what you get instead is 1,200 miles / week , 1,500 miles per week, 1800 miles per week, etc and THEY THEN TELL YOU "OH - YOU DIDN'T DRIVE 2,800 MILES THIS WEEK - SO WE HAVE TO PUT YOU INTO P3 STATUS ( P3 MEANS THEY NOW PAY YOU 25 CPM INSTEAD OF WHAT THEY TOLD YOU AT ORIENTATION !!) - Bay and Bay is sham-company that ROBS DRIVERS EVERY SINGLE WEEK. This company is a thief - FIND YOURSELF A REAL COMPANY WHERE YOU'LL MAKE MORE THAN $300 / WEEK. That is the real deal on Bay and Bay. Drivers should never waste their time with this company. Do not waste your money on this company ! Drivers beware. Caveat Emptor !

Going off of what I've seen at their company in the last 8 years, they are running stronger than ever right now. New equipment, new customers, new ventures. Good stuff!
