Communication is zero and dispatcher and the planner doesn't know how to plan a load. They do give their drivers the best load for lease purchase drivers while company drivers staving for miles. They're the best company when I first started two years ago but it all went down the hills because of poor managements.

Pros

They pay early and they don't Micro manage you.

Cons

Poor communication, empty miles is ridiculous for lease purchase and poor load planning

I did two loads for them in August. It’s still time that they do not pay me. I am now having problems with my factory due to them, not paying us.! I have called them many times I have also asked to speak to account payable which they say they can only be reached by email and that they will email them to get this matter solved and that’s every time I call and obviously it’s now December 2024 and they still have not paid!! If you’re looking for a company that pays on time this is definitely not the company you’re looking for! You can never reach account payable or a supervisor!! So here I am still waiting to see when this matter will be resolved so they can pay me my loads that they have not paid!

Pros

No progress at all they never answer

Cons

Horrible company as far as payment matters, you can never reach anybody in accounts payable Because they don’t have a phone number go through the dispatchers and they all say the same thing we will get them an email and what happens. Never get an answer.

It’s unfortunate because they have freight and everyone could be making money but the planning is so poor. Worst I have ever seen in all my time in the industry. They really need to get actual planners in the seat

Pros

Cons

Somehow people are getting paid to plan trucks to lose money each week

Communication 1 out 10 Dispatcher 1 out 10 They take money off the load before they take 30% and you will drive 200 plus empty miles almost 85% because they don't plan the load route

Pros

They pay early and deduction is low

Cons

Lack of communication and longer empty miles and low rate

Don’t go to work for them! They lie and try to get you to pay for stuff you didn’t do.

Bay and Bay Transportation - An Absolutely Horrible Company for Drivers

BAY AND BAY TRANSPORTATION - AN ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE COMPANY FOR DRIVERS !

.....unfortunately all of the reviews on the main Bay and Bay page were posted by senior managers at Bay and Bay - They told me this themselves - none of these reviews come from real Bay and Bay drivers.....I am a real Bay and Bay driver - the following is WHAT'S REALLY GOING ON AT Bay and Bay: Bay and Bay goes thru drivers like water every single week because they pay their drivers 25 cents per mile and drivers quit the minute they find out what's really going on!!!......THEY DON'T TELL YOU THIS AT ORIENTATION ! EVERY MONDAY THEY HAVE A NEW ORIENTATION CLASS OF 12-20 NEW DRIVERS. I am the only one left at Bay and Bay from my orientation class of 12 drivers just 4 months ago! ........and am leaving this week ! .......at orientation one of their manager-crooks will walk in on the 2nd day and tell you the following: "we here at Bay and Bay use a driver accounting system known as P3" - what P3 is is simply an excuse for them to pay their drivers 25 cents per mile instead of the rate they tell you you'll get !!......they tell you in orientation that you'll get 2,800 miles/ week at about 40 cents per mile.....WHAT THEY DON'T TELL YOU IS THAT THEY WILL NEVER GIVE YOU 2,800 MILES PER WEEK !! - what you get instead is 1,200 miles / week , 1,500 miles per week, 1800 miles per week, etc and THEY THEN TELL YOU "OH - YOU DIDN'T DRIVE 2,800 MILES THIS WEEK - SO WE HAVE TO PUT YOU INTO P3 STATUS ( P3 MEANS THEY NOW PAY YOU 25 CPM INSTEAD OF WHAT THEY TOLD YOU AT ORIENTATION !!) - Bay and Bay is sham-company that ROBS DRIVERS EVERY SINGLE WEEK. This company is a thief - FIND YOURSELF A REAL COMPANY WHERE YOU'LL MAKE MORE THAN $300 / WEEK. That is the real deal on Bay and Bay. Drivers should never waste their time with this company. Do not waste your money on this company ! Drivers beware. Caveat Emptor !

Bay & Bay

Going off of what I've seen at their company in the last 8 years, they are running stronger than ever right now. New equipment, new customers, new ventures. Good stuff!
