I first enjoyed working for KLB. I made multiple trips (especially weekend double loads to NY), received a safe driving award and had been driving for over 10 years with no issues. Yes, it had its ups and downs like any other job. What changed my outlook was an incident I had following a return from vacation where I was terminated the next day. No one would speak with me or listen to my situation. This is when I really realized that you can do right all you want and work your butt off but that will always be overlooked because everyone’s expendable. It’s sad, I’m a safe, reliable and a conscious driver always taking safety seriously. Now I’m seeing incidents of drivers driving on the wrong side of the highway on the news meanwhile I’m flagged and cannot find a job after an incident that occurred while I was on vacation. I would say moving forward to be very cautious in your decision making before accepting employment with any job. Continue working hard for what you want but also know your worth.

I was a yard driver in Franklin, Ky. It started out ok! The dispatchers for shipping and logistics talk to you very disrespectful at times. The yard manager there, talks to you crazy sometimes too. He was the reason why I walked off. You work hard, and you give them your all, for what, to get disrespected. We are grown people. The disrespect, I will not tolerate. Yard drivers have to deal with all types of weather. No matter if it’s rain, snow or sleet, we’re there giving our all. Don’t forget about the lack of manpower. We have to go over and beyond. I really believed that the yard manager felt some kind of way because he had to get his butt up into a truck and work. I really believed that’s one of the reasons why he had a chip on his shoulder. Stay away from that place. I wasn’t fired, I left.

THEY ALL SUCK, STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. TRUCKS BREAKING DOWN EVERY OTHER WEEK. PAY IS ALWAYS WRONG. DISPATCH ARE IDIOTS

I was a former employee there and the terminal manager is a bully. very discriminatory and will put you down every chance he has to scream it out loud. he treats his drivers like complete crap. DO NOT WORK THERE OR FOR HIM/THEM. think of it this way you work there you make him a paycheck!

They sell a dream. They know what they are doing and know what bait to use. They operate on a take or leave it basis. If you understand what it costs to operate you'll be disappointed. If your not good at math you'll be content. Don't believe the hype. However if you have no other choice have at it. Load Planner is nice but lies in everything she says. She believes her own lies. Terminal manager has a bully style of leadership. He could care less. I thought KLB was good. I don't believe that anymore.
