The company is the one that makes money with your truck and license, which is not something competitive for your truck owner, that is, it is a salary that in the end is like being a driver and not the owner of your own truck or business, I do not recommend it.She is very deceitful and many dispatchers sell the loads to their highest bidder!!!Today I am still working for them, it is because they still have the title of my truck in their hands.

Pros

The most incompetent company along with its staff!!

This was a decent place to work until the current regime took over. The left hand doesn’t know what the right is doing. It has turned into a throw you under that bus culture. Lots of rules in place as if they own your vehicle. It’s dressed up nice but, ultimately the competition is wearing them down.

Pros

Work when its available

Cons

Will disappoint when its slow leaving you to hang out to dry.

Very poor communications everything is misleading management lies Dispatch will not let you broker freight you get paid every three weeks it’s a work week billable week then they pay so when you leave they keep your money…..Their drivers get paid $1000 to recruit you don’t go

Pros

There are really no pros it’s all misleading from management to Dispatch

Cons

If you have a problem they’ll fix your truck if your trucks in the shop for a week Which is common now remember you get paid every three weeks they will lie to you

Worst place monopolized by Dispatchers who profit by getting their own trucks and people to work in the company and give them best loads

Pros

Could be a good company I’d do as they say

Cons

Lie about getting $3000 to $6000 per week

Any body know anything about new line transport ?

They have a yard in Palatka, [ go by there several times a week ] never see trucks sitting there very long, seem to stay busy.Plenty of trailers,I notice many different O/O trucks, do not seem to stay very long. Just what I have noticed.

I was leased to them out of Mt Holly NC Hauled sheetrock from national gypsum, I left couldnt do it take a load out and they expected you to deadhead back to get another sheetrock load, Didnt matter how far out you were they were just concerned with that customer not their O/O

I've been with them for about a year now, I don't have any real issues. Home every weekend. I could stay out if I choose too. I'm leasing a truck from them. Not exactly the greatest but it gets the job done. I run for the palatka terminal. They r good folks. They will help you with whatever you need. The freight is easy. Never any issues. It's all flatbed so you know. They do have a tanker decision and a sister company which hauls sand. Hope this lil overview helps.

I worked for Newline for 8 years, on and off. I worked myself to death and couldn't pay my bills. Deadhead milage was incredible, more empty miles than loaded an very little was paid for loads. A 36% broker fee was taken before fuel or other expenses leaving me with about 42 cents per mile, most of the time. I was lucky to get out while I still had a house to live in.

Operated out of the Miami terminal.
