Was not paid for detention I was supposed to be paid for dispatcher did not do their job they are dispatchers not driver managers and I requested be home in 3 weeks prior and I was not home for one month after my requested date this is not the company to work for
First month went well, then miles fell off, lots of L.A. slow miles or climbing up to Washington with heavy loads, they say 11 western but it's really California, Oregon, Washington, I did 176 rand McNally miles in 3 days lol
Please do your proverbial homework (extensively) if you’re interested in applying or working for Legend Transportation because there’s A LOT of things that are not good (that should be good fundamentally for a transportation company or a business in 2020)
Best company I work in 2 years home time always I want equipment best in the class dM’s are the best
WARNING STAY AWAY !!! WARNING STAY AWAY!!!! This has to be the worst company to work for! And believe me I have worked for some pretty bad ones. But I'm hear to tell you ,Stay away from this one. First right off the batt , where they put you up at while in Orientation, should give you a pretty good idea how this company works. Second all the BS they tell you in orientation, about how they care about their driver's and that you will get home time and benefits and all the rest of the BS.. Is just that BS. They can care less if you have family or want time off! Really they dont care!!! They will treat you less then human! Less then the dog crap on the bottom of their shoes that they step in when walking. You are no buddy!! And I do mean no buddy! They can replace you in that seat in a heart beat, and they make you know it. Just don't listen to me ,read all the reviews! The ones that are 5 star's you can only guess who really wrote those.. Just please hear my WARNING Save yourself from going through what a lot of us have already gone through.
Don't bother with these people. I know a couple of guys who worked there and their stories pretty much match the OP. I know both drivers well and they're not prone to making up a bunch of bs or feeling sorry for themselves. If we had openings I'd hire both of them.
If you're part of the owner's ethnic group you might make out alright. If you're not you'll find that exclusivity games are constant.
They haul cheap freight, constantly under-bid other companies, promise their customers impossible delivery dates...and then expect the drivers to work miracles. Stay away.
This company is the worst company I ever worked. Truckers work hard to earn every cent and there is no reason to steal from there paycheck. The dispatchers on other hand never gives you loads on time. Sometimes you get a load, but the company runs out empty trailers so you are hunting to catch empty trailers before your own company drivers. Lack of communication in the office and not punctual at all. I mean there is efficient way to run a company rather than just brute strength. Save your self some headache and work for some other companies.
