It has been a long time since I've driven that stretch. Is that the place where drivers tend to crash? The detour sounds like a nightmare.

    Lol
There’s been a crash at just about every spot on the road...but yes there’s couple of spots headed down the hill from Donegal to New Stanton where it twists up pretty good
And yes the posted detours bout 75 miles further than pike....course depending on where your comin from and goin there’s better alternatives Including a couple other routings between Breezewood and New Stanton

I'm glad the driver lived, but he's doing it wrong.

Usually the preferred spot to make a truck become “part of the scenery” is on the eastbound side after you come out of the Allegheny Mountain tunnel-that 45 mph immediate left hand curve throws A LOT of super truckers off!

And the gouges in the hillside are living proof!;)

    Random dad joke:

When grandma turned 65, she started walking 10 miles every day.

She's 92 now, and we don't know where she is.

They crash anywhere from the 75 to the 110 where that highways is the most curvy, but that curve just before exit 75 going west where this one crashed is one of, if not the worst.

It's not that bad anymore. Went through there last Sunday.

The grade going East that used to be 2 lanes is now 3.
