See these pup trailers on the interstate wiggling all over the place. Why do they move around so much? Is it the driver that's doing it or is that just how they are? When it's windy oh man I don't even pass them.
Why are pups so wiggly?

Sometimes ruts in the road will make the trailers fight.
A good driver should be able to keep them straight.Canadianhauler21, tscottme and singlescrewshaker Thank this. -

Properly loaded with proper air pressure in the tires , they don't wiggle. Under-inflated tires, worn out springs on the con-gear, heavy rear trailer/light front trailer...might wiggle a bit
Canadianhauler21, MACK E-6, TripleSix and 2 others Thank this. -
Light rear wagon. A heavy rear wagon can also cause this. Had a heavy tailgate loader trailer as my rear trailer. Could not switch it to lead as it lacked hardware. Could not get it to pull straight , wobbled all over at road speed,,,Ended up moving it 220 miles at 45mph!! Never again. I still pull A trains but most the rest of Canada is B’s or C’s
