I pick up at a paper plant almost daily. They shove 2-3 drivers and 3-5 employees into an 8x10 office. I don’t want that situation without Covid lol.
Picking up during covid?

OMG!! No wonder everyone is afraid! Life stops without wine sniffing. Someone do something!
Everytime you get the cold you can't smell anything.Dave_in_AZ Thanks this. -
This is my experience. Lots of places guard shack wants them on then once in no one has them or says anything. Whether you believe they are effective or not, they are useless if mishandled. Been treated like a modern day leper out here since March and I don’t go places that are Mask N**is. Shipper/Receiver is one thing but a business is entirely different that I’m patronizing. A truck stop that busts my chops gets a response from me that “I have a medical condition called Peyronie’s Disease. It’s a blood flow issue, look it up.” They don’t make eye contact again.

Is going off on some weird guy with towel on his head for walking his dog next to my drivers door considered a hate crime...?
And it was a towel.. like he just got out of a shower.
I don’t believe it was, I’d have went off on anyone wearing a towel or not.
I think I hurt fluffys feelings, but that truck parked nose to nose with me in a corner mud lot here in Lebo Ks TA.
After I went off on him he later backed his truck up, I moved spots, and he is sitting in front of an empty spot parked under the tree limbs.
Yes, white Volvo...
Now he’s following me.
I have a truck stalker...

I haven't noticed a huge difference. Just an additional annoyance in the form of filling out a short questionnaire regarding the lie that is covid.
Some shippers and receivers require a temperature check. No biggie.
Socialist distancing guidelines are in place. Plexiglass barriers are up everywhere making the manufacturers of plexiglass happy, I am sure.JoeyJunk Thanks this. -
Wear my mask follow rules outlined at Shipper or receiver door/window or the rules may be listed on paperwork. No issues what so ever , act like a decent person and more often than not you yourself will be treated decently . Chances are you will run into a pos at some point precovid or present.
Jenn72, nredfor88 and SteveScott Thank this. -
I have copd, and I wear a mask because I respect you. I respect that if I have it without symptoms, that wearing a mask protects you. It may save you months in the hospital, not earning money. It may save you months of recovery. It may save you from the chronic illnesses that many covid survivors suffer. It may save a life. The mask may help protect me, but its to keep ME from spitting on YOU during normal conversation.
I NEED those low wage/no benefits workers at the truck stops and grocery stores. I do not find it a burden in ANY WAY to try to protect them from all of that, and have some respect for the risk they take every day.
I respect the health care workers who spend every day holding the hands of the dying because their families can't be there. The health care workers BEGGING us to slow down the spread of this virus because hospital systems and workers are caving under the emotional and physical pressure this virus is causing.
I wear a mask out of respect, not fear, not because I've "been ordered to.". I wear a mask because I was paying attention in elementary school when they taught us germ theory, and to cover my moth when I sneeze. Its simple. Its easy. It takes NOTHING from me to show respect for others. But it's too much trouble for some ppl to show respect for others.KansasWhirl, Jenn72, alds and 2 others Thank this. -
So according to you we should have been wearing a mask since the day we was born. Maybe don’t be so quick to judge someone that’s not wearing a mask. You know show some of that respect you like to talk about.Big John Classic HQ, JoeyJunk and nredfor88 Thank this.
