Got a “warning” from logs today. Don’t show enough on duty time. Not entirely unexpected but still frustrating. Careful to always show a pretrip and fueling but slack about forcing my crash happy tablet to record drop/hook or load/unload instead of constantly being in “drive”. It tends to want to lock up and needs to be rebooted when I switch duty status. Works about as well as “lane assist”.

Mine was doing the same thing.I couldn’t change status after stopping.
Never got flagged for not enough OD time though.

I left Crete 8 years ago . I got off the road in 2012.
I drove my own truck most of those years. I didn't deal with this stuff.

    Electronic logs that can malfunction.
    Trucks that do malfunction.
    Auto shift transmissions.
Automatic braking that may slam on the brakes for no reason.

I remember hiring on at Crete in 1994.
We hauled freight and we drove the trucks without having to deal with all the complications.
    Apply the brakes if needed.
Fill out the logbook ( Make adjustments if necessary ).
    Call in when empty. Etc.
Imo, trucking was better back then.

So many additional problems have been created with all the extra headaches.

    Just my opinion.

    Cell phones are good.
    Qcomm is nice.
    The rest sucks, imo.

    Probably was using Google maps.
    I use 3 sources (well 4)
1- Garmin GPS for basic directions
2- Customer directions for off highway routing
3-Google maps to get a visual
    4-Common sense
