Interviewed and was offered the linehaul position out of the Portland terminal. Will take road test and drug test this coming week.
Any drivers have any insight, tips or words of wisdom?
    Thanks

Spent 7 years team with them. Good choice.

Invest fully in their 401k and match, and lean heavy on company stock.

Update: Have taken drug screen and passed road test. Just waiting on everything to come back from HireRight (DAC) for final approval.

Starting p&d at OD on the 1st also (orientation) excited also. Nice to read about all good coming from this company & the LTL world.
I'm straight out of driving school also, took about 3 weeks to go through the onboarding process.

    Pickleball Thanks this.

Hey i just applied for a team position with old dominion. Haven't gotten a interview or anything yet. Just wondering how long does it take to hear back from them and get offered a job and that whole process really?

Also i dont have any restrictions on my license but i Haven't driven a 10 speed since i was in trucking school every company ive worked for was automatic. Will they give me a quick refresh course of something on how to drive the manual transmission if i tell them or will they just not offer me the job? I know they dont care if you can shift perfectly just have to show you can maintain control of the vehicle i guess. This is the only thing that worries me is driving manual for the road test..

How much does teams pay now i applied in the conley, ga area for team position is that a big terminal with lots of runs?
