There are exemptions such as bad weather, or major wreck, now with eld, stuck at shipper/receiver,
then you’re allowed to go to nearest safe Haven

 

No, they only find out if they inspect your logs during a roadside, at the scale house, or through an inspection of the company records.

That said, my concubine (Big Maud) says I have a big mouth and can’t keep a secret so you might be in trouble from that angle.

But, I’ll try real hard to keep my mouth shut about it. I promise!
