######## weight restrictions

I have to be extra diligent about weight restrictions when I got Big Maude riding shotgun.

 

As long as the driver grossed under 80K and there weren’t any warning signs posted before the bridge, we paid all drivers’ overweight fines.

 

It should be illegal for bridges to exist that cant take 40 tons.

 

Not to worry......the "infrastructure bill" will take care of that.

 

Not those bridges on 14/17, they lowered weight several years ago, even swapped highway numbers because they didn’t want to replace them.
Now if it falls while you’re crossing it, you just bought a bridge.
I’d say he missed the Y and was supposed to be on 14, which used to be 17.

 

Yea, they should upgrade every one of them.

 

They did, in Amagon, Jackson county’s last wooden bridge... I crossed it many times loaded, some wouldn’t cross it empty..

 

What we really need is a King! Then things will get done! And, I’ll be a sport and volunteer for the gig.
