Oh, it pays a little more than that...since they have to import yankee's to come down since they're the only ones dumb enough to stand around all day in the southern sun on hot pavement...us Floridians know better and actively avoid heat stroke. The only time a Floridian stands out all day in the sun, it involves a fishing pole and a cooler of beer to keep the hydration level up.

Iraphralph you pulled that off Craigslist in Dubuque IA. I saw that the other day on there. Do you live close to there?

Has anyone elses Peoplenet been really acting more screwed up than usual? Friday, it locked up twice, and each took multiple reboots to get it back running right. Today, just as I was getting to the gate of my delivery, it lost connection to the truck, locked up and then rebooted itself. Then, to clear it and get it reconnected to the truck I had to kill the main power via the floor switch. It also can't make up its mind on trip numbers. Originally, it would automatically clear the old trip number when you were dispatched on a new trip number...then it wouldn't add any trip numbers, now it adds the new one, but doesn't delete the old one. I can live with it any of those ways, if it would only make up it's mind which... Oh, and it isn't keeping track of daily miles driven anymore. I swear, if it doesn't get it's #### together, it's gonna be roadkill after I toss the POS out the window...

Yeah mine recently started screwing up the trip numbers. Crashes about the same as before, usually while you’re typing something on it. Seems like every time they “fix” something they break something else.

The trip number thing keeps varying on mine, but I've had this truck since February and it hasn't froze up or crashed at all. Maybe it's a little better tablet since it's newer

Mine just revived a trip number I deleted Friday, both on the Peoplenet unit itself, and thru the online ELD portal. I think the mileage thing is because there is a conflict and missing data when I was at the Springfield AWG drop this morning. It should start working in the morning. My online data showed accurate miles traveled today.

    Lonesome and Jarhed1964 Thank this.

My next load. I picked up in the Carthage caves again, but at a different shipper. My appointment for my live load was 19:00, I got there around 13:00, and went in to ask if they needed me to check in now or later, he took my PU number and said that if my reefer was precooled, pull it in front of his office, and then he'll put me in a door. 3 ish hours later(way before my appointment), I was pulling out the gate on my way to North Platte....now my only concern is, are they gonna try to shanghai me into helping with the Walmart dedicated b.s.(which is suppose to be voluntary) I got news for them, they'll have a choice, NO or HELL NO.

    Jarhed1964 and Speed_Drums Thank this.

It’s not laziness. It’s being smart. If someone is willing to pay you more for not working than you can make working, why in the hell would you work?

Pay me thirty dollars an hour (what I average per load) and my happy ### will be on the lake fishing by day and chasing Kentuckians by night. And, the world can call me lazy all day long and kiss my pale, white ### all night. Lol

I thought I found the D/C where that picture @iraqralph43 posted was taken...but, there aren't any trees that big around the N. Platte D/C, so this must be another damaged trailer...and it's an 839###, why can't they destroy the last of the 837### and 838### trailers and leave the newer ones intact.
