Sorry to hear you’re losing your job. That sucks. I don’t know your age, but if you’re older, food service, beverage delivery, etc... can be back breaking work.

My advice is to get all the endorsements so you can maximize your options.

 

I'm in your area. Why not try Ward over on South side of Easton. I know they're looking for a "B" Class for a 24" Box / warehouse driver-handler, or maybe Primo Produce off Airport Road will help with getting your CDL through Northampton Community College in return for a one year commitment. there's gotta be a boat load of LTL companies in that area.

R+L, Estes, Old Dominion, SAIA, New Penn, Yellow/Roadway, etc,etc. many times, these companies are located in the same industrial park

 

some of these still have “dock to driver” programs. As much as everyone seems to be needing drivers, that might just motivate them to get people through the program quickly.
