What you need is more money for the work that you do, You guys that think working more hours for the same chump change are dumb.

 

When I started in 99, I used to go there a lot, and it was nice. I took a while off from driving, and was shocked to see what a dump it had turned into when I started driving again in ‘15.

 

Always run to Flynn’s in shrewsbury or stop early at the new pride in Hartford.

Coming from the west get off in Westfield and fuel at the citgo is the cheapest around then run back north on 10 past the pike to the restaurant just past freightliner which has truck parking. Or hide behind the Walmart in Chicopee so I can walk over to the 99

If you can’t make a living in 60 hours a week you are either living beyond your means or working for a #### company, never mind 70.

 

My 84 hour clock looks good about now? No? Especially if this happens over and over for you. Don't worry, it seems like most drivers are against it anyways. You win. Take it easy.

 

I've never been to Flynn's or the new Pride in Hartford. I always stopped at the Pride in Chicopee or the TA in Southington {when they had the Country Pride}.

 

flynns you used to be able to fuel/shower then run back down the 122 split where you come off the pike and park in the big lot with the 99.

I try to avoid the prides for fuel as they are a little more expensive then my usual places and it seems I’m always doing fuel filters after stopping there, it’s nice having the showers in Hartford now though

 

Used to be 100 times worse. Trucks would be sitting out on the road waiting to fuel. You used to have to drive through the fuel pumps to get to the parking lot. If you didnt get there before 1pm you might as well keep driving. Since they renovated it, it's a dream compared to what it used to be

 

You have to wonder what the insides of the big building look like now, since it has been sitting empty and unused for 20 years

 

Probably rat infested and anything else that crawls and bites. They should have just tore it down and made more parking.
