I wasn’t for driverless vehicles when all of that started but could it be any worse than what we have now?

I used to dodge cars but the past several years I’ve had to get away from trucks more and more

I blame the schools or companies that allow this but I’m at a point I would rather fight for my lane with a computer than some idiot with no experience, schooling, watching tv or whatever they’re doing

Noone teaches how to go down a mountain.
The college here in town requires the trucking instructors to have a bachelors degree minimum.

the people they got training used to farm, so they’ve got flatland experience in an old farm truck.

Goodness man. Training training and more training. They always start at the top of hill at too high of a speed. A driver is toast at that point.

    A bachelor's degree in WHAT ?
I grew up on a farm on flat land .. but even I knew weight pushing you down the slightest decline will cause issues.. 3 days after I got my license I moved to CO. and started running in the mountains... I never had issues .. but I knew enough to respect the mountains and common sense & slow are your best friends

And the government doesn’t see it that way
They believe all the accidents are caused by a bunch of renegade truckers and not some or a bunch of under trained drivers

So what’s the fix? More regulations to slow down the renegade bunch

Oh yeah. I do think that some renegade truckers need to be reigned in some, but the root of all issues is training. You can't expect a driver to know how to handle every situation with 3 weeks of school and a month at best of on the job training. Then some companies that train don't even see every type of condition possible because they don't run all 48.

How does Darth Vader like his toast?

    On the Dark Side.

How many bagels does it take to screw in a lightbulb?

    Toaster ovens don't have lightbulbs.

Jokes and puns made in bad 'toast' can put you in a 'jam'.
