    From old upsf/tforce trailers to "new" saia trailers. At my hub, I see about 25 or 30 of these old pups waiting to be converted to saia trailers.. Besides the new paint/decal scheme it *looks* like they're renewing some of the electrical/mechanical parts.     So this is the coolest or one of the coolest pictures @R.Buron has taken. He had the best pictures of TNT in Canada and the Great Lakes states. What was a big portion of his catalogue was up on Hanks Truck Pictures for a very long time, until Hanks took the photos down, but the photos have surfaced in other areas and it's interesting that Yellow is what TNT Holland devolved into. TNT had so many different companies.

    This photo I always thought was cool. Olex was TNT's urgent shipping division for the automotive industry. Basically expedited service specifically for the auto industry operated heavy up in Ontario Canada auto belt. TNT did have a company called Just In Time which handled "just in time" shipments for the Japanese auto industry that operated on zero inventory business model. Olex was tailored to solving issues for the auto industry a machine goes down in an auto factory and shuts down the assembly line or they are running out or low on something, but 4 hours away is what ever widget they need, Olex would run out and get what ever is needed. This photo is cool because there is a really cool 1990s Ford F-Superduty Expedite truck with sleeper cab in the foreground which is pretty cool, I'd like to see more of that truck, but my guess is this is the only picture of that truck and I'm sure now 27 years later that truck has probably been junked and is someone's kitchen silverware now, but still really cool.

    Really impressive and awesome history. Well done. I was delivering to some of the BNSF rail yards in the inland northwest once a week a few years back. I saw some pretty old cars and equipment lying around before the Santa Fe merger.

    There's probably still some BN and Santa Fe locomotives still around. I think that Union Pacific may still have a couple Southern Pacific locomotives still out there. However Im pretty sure, that all the Santa Fe and BN MOW equipment is probably long off the road now. As far as the locomotives mentioned I think, probably most of that older stuff has been mothballed, besides some locals and yard work, that old stuff isn't on the high iron very much anymore.

    T force is CFI. Union agreement required a 2 year contract continuance after CFI’s parent company purchased them. The T Force name is literally a 2 year “on paper” company. They will be transitioning into CFI in the coming year. At least that’s how it was explained in orientation.

    I know Transforce has been merging a lot of companies together and consolidating some. I know Transforce owned Transport America and then bought CFI from XPO and then when they looked at the two companies they decided that CFI was the better of the two so they merged Transport America into CFI so that makes sense they are going to merge the LTL into them was well.
