No I don't have my hazmat but i wanna get it sometime. Also my favorite run is probably the beer load out of Ft. Collins. US-85 is a beautiful drive and after you get through Cheyenne, very little traffic to bother you.

Don't know how fancy you're looking to go, but I always go to the Culver's by the Walmart down the street from the terminal after I do some shopping at Walmart lol. Last time I was there the cashier hooked me up with a free banana ice cream because they made it for another customer but the customer didn't want it, so the cashier gave it to me - SCORE! Lol

Delivered to the Magnum warehouse in Fargo, and went to the main office to chat with my DM and other dispatchers. It was great to put faces to names.
Picking up in Park Rapids tomorrow then delivering in Kansas City and going home. -
Is Magnum Electric owned by the same guy that owns Magnum Companies?
-
Don't know, but I've never heard of Magnum Electric since I've been with this company.

Were Jordan, Jenn and Angie as nice in person as they are on the phone/over peoplenet? Those 3 and my driver manager Karen are probably the nicest people I have ever met in my life (well I've never met them in person but that's my observation with communicating with them over the phone/peoplenet). Mark's a really cool guy too (the safety director who does orientation), he actually made the orientation class interesting when I went a year ago (first time ever that orientation was actually kind of interesting). Don't know if you saw him or not when you wrote that message a week ago.
Actually funny thing about Angie, they sent out a message a couple weeks ago that ANGEL was not with the company anymore (a dispatcher who I've never interracted with before). I misread it and read ANGIE instead of Angel, so I thought Angie had left for some reason. Messaged back and forth with my DM today about a few things and it turns out Angie is still here, I had just misread the peoplenet message. Was really happy to hear that, she's done a great job running the Western Region and is always very prompt in getting back to me. Would've been a big loss if she had left the company for whatever reason.Nateman482 Thanks this. -
Have any of you ever been to the Anheuser-Busch warehouse in Cartersville, GA? I have a delivery there coming up and I read the Google reviews and they are not good. Reviews are saying wait times are from 10-24 hours to get loaded or unloaded, with no access to the bathrooms for drivers (and no mention of a Porta John on the reviews either).
Have any of you been recently and how long did it take? Were you able to get out in 10 hours or less from the time you arrived there?
I'm hoping it won't be as bad as the reviews say it is, was wondering if any of you have been there in the past year or so. -
I have Karen as my driver manager too, after Darcy left the company. I have no issues with her. Jenn and Angie were okay too. I didn't meet Jordan. I did make a note that the ND Inbound person Matt M. tends to use finger guns a lot while talking with other people. He did it 2-3 times while i was hanging out there. I delivered to the main warehouse there early in the morning and had nothing better to do for the day so i spent a good few hours there. Overall the office had a great atmosphere. It also happened to be Angie's birthday when i was there, so I got to sign her birthday card. Good times.MaineRoad96 Thanks this.

Hello Magnum drivers. I have been trying to get in touch with a recruiter and am not getting a call back. I left a message on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and again today, on Friday. Is this typical? I've been calling the number given on the web site for "Driver Recruiters."

So I have a pick up for early tomorrow afternoon at Cavendish Farms in Jamestown. Matt said the customer was very flexible and usually loaded early. Rolled in 24 hours before my appointment, expecting to be turned away. Called the number, told them my PU#, got told that "your dispatch is full of #### as always", then promptly got hung up on.
I wasn't expecting to be loaded that early but really? A simple no would've sufficed, and i would've been more than happy to wait until tomorrow. Considered calling and saying no way jose about the load but everyone has gone home for the weekend.
Stuff like this makes me wonder why i got my CDL in the first place.Crusader66 Thanks this.
