Figured it scared you enough to join TTR so I’ll just add to your stress

 

99% of the time they won't chase you there. It gets backed out in the driving lane all the time there on both sides. Most times they'll turn the lights off until it clears. If they don't I still blow it I won't sit out in the road. Plus all the trucks with pre pass that can skip it. You're fine at that scale. Wouldn't press my luck elsewhere though

 

When you come to the next weigh station, turn yourself in, surrender your license, tell them what you want for your last meal, call the wife & kids, and check out some quick adult websites.

Most of the time, if the cops don't chase you down after you accidentally miss the scale, then nothing bad happens. But we are talking about NJ, so who knows what happens.

 

Virginia has the no chase law ....we never go in any of them
