They are the only company I can find doing it right. If you are lucky enough to live in NC, VA, SC, TN then I highly recommend you check them out. I worked 4 years with them and can’t find anything close to what this company offers anywhere.

67cpm and I never got any forms about being fired in orientation. I only got treated well and paid well with excellent equipment and miles. Home weekly. I’m respectful and I run to make money. I don’t sit around. I’m only letting people know because this thread is for sharing good companies since so many bad ones out there. They’re honest too.

Yeah, I will vouch for that. I tried to come back to Cargo, filled out an app, but due to a crash on ice in Jan of 21, they never called me back. Luckily, I got a good safety net here at FCC, so I stay here and stay out of the northeast!

I had a different experience with your company! I wasn’t impressed and I walked away during the first week of training. Your so-called trainer. Very first trip in a truck, going into the heart of New York nonetheless. The “trainer” Sat on the bunk and watched me drive for about 30 minutes. Then he says to me “you seem like a natural, I’m going to catch some sleep if you need anything give me a holler”. Pulled the curtain closed and didn’t wake up until I was ready to back in New York. The “training” didn’t get any better over the following days. I was also made to sleep on the top bunk with nothing to secure me up there. Your “training“ that consisted of team driving because I literally never saw the guy for more than five minutes a day while he slid into the bunk to go to sleep, or play video games, so this guy had a habit of hard braking with me on the top bunk. Yeah I flew off of there a couple times.I left! Didn’t finish your bogus program. Total waste of time! Went to another company where I got real training. I’ve been out here four years now with a perfect record and running around 500,000 miles that you guys could’ve had. But no dice for you!

I find this posting to be bogus. An issue post. I get tired of seeing reviews written by the company reps themselves. I’m not saying cargo transporters is a good or bad trucking company. I’m just simply telling my experience with y’all.

They don’t even do training anymore. But when they did I had the best trainer with no problems whatsoever. Sorry to hear yours made you sleep on the top bunk! Mine did not! You said your trainer told you to ask for help? Well then you should have asked for help. You did not say he refused to help. Sounds like you should have asked. I went to Tennessee twice a week with my trainer & we have no loads going into NYC anyway. We go through NY on 95 over the George Washington. When we did go northeast my trainer was right next to me & I was instructed to wake him up if it even started to snow. You said your trainer said you looked like you could handle it? Could you handle it or not? Again this is a thread to share good trucking jobs. Are you gonna attack everyone on here that posts a good job? You all know as well as me that these trucking companies suck for the most part. They lie to drivers. Cargo is not like that. It’s a good stress free company. Sorry it did not work out for you but I rarely ever heard a driver at cargo hate cargo. Trucking is hard and you signed up for a hard job no matter where you work but cargo does there part and tries to make things as easy as possible on the driver. They don’t put up with rude disrespectful people so maybe try being nice and not accusing people you don’t even know on forums to lying and really being the secretary. Maybe call cargo and ask the turnover rate? If your interested and have a list of questions & ask them to email you some stuff you personally need to see in writing to see if it’s a good fit for you. Who does not like money good equipment and being treated well? No one ever likes going through training so what are you complaining about exactly? That it wasn’t easy? Training is like boot camp it’s to weed out the weak. If you can’t handle training no company would want you anyways.
