Careful now, 700 mile days are addictive, once you have your 1st, you aren't satisfied until you have another, and another, and another. Pretty soon a 600 mile day will seem boring.

 

I remember my first part time job sorry brother, I couldn't help myself lol

I think I did 697 one day, but I was wore out by the time I shut down. For me I don't need that much to feel productive, but I'll do it if I need to. My limit in a car is about 800. Anything more and I start to get tired.

 

Opened my curtains to rain..in western Kansas. They need it out in these parts though.

 

I will agree that Highway 12 from I-5 to yakima is a very pretty drive!

 

Back in the good ol paper and loose leaf logbook days, 1000 mile days were just a good full days work. We are all spoiled now lol. Did 716 today and I was like ######, if it wasn't for the traffic and construction slowdowns I could have gotten a little farther down the road lol

 

Back in the day when all you needed to have for more hours is another couple log books. I use to keep the one that I turned in to the company marked with a teeny tiny dot in the top corner, the rest were a total mystery...and when you'd wake up, open the curtains and stare out the front window, not because you were admiring the beautiful scenery, but because you were trying to remember where the #### you stopped for you nap. I always wanted to get a dry erase board so I could write down where I stopped, where I was headed and what time I had to start rolling again. Ahhhh, the good ole' days.
