I realize this is a "help all" site, but kind of a silly question. Bigger things to worry about, 10-4.
TripleSix and austinmike Thank this. -

Yeah, i thought op was trolling at first hence the off topic response.

At one time i was unfortunately the one who installed, repaired and maintained these screening rooms so shame on you Chinatown, take Mooseteks advice you filthy animal.
You have nothing to worry about as long as you didn't flush the toilet or wash your hands until the sample was back in their custody. Even then they would have told you at that time that they would be needing another sample.
Pre employment screening is bottom of the barrel cheap as you can get drug testing. Often times now in other industries they use the same quick read tests that policing agencies use to continue establishing probable cause. They don't even send out unless there is a positive and they need more "calibrated" results.
Now get into a serious accident in a vehicle and they are doing a forced blood draw. Good companies that want good employees not on the stuff will typically send you to a testing facility that will take a hair sample, have a switch outside the room that turns the water off, a special locked regardless/tankless toilet that they will spoil the water blue. I've heard myth of same sex staff watching the collection process but would think that would have been more on establishing some type of criminality in an offender...
In any case, congrads on your new endeavor Barry! -
I flushed one time out of pure habit. They were cool about it and didn't throw me under the busblairandgretchen and Chinatown Thank this.

A "forced blood draw"? Here's where they could get mine from,,
, urine is one thing, but I believe some religions forbid blood draws for any reason, although face an 18 month suspension for failure to do one. I think that's crossing another line.
austinmike and Bud A. Thank this. -
Law enforcement has to get a warrant for a blood test. I suppose if you killed someone in a wreck the judge would sign off on it though.

I did a random the other day and almost (and should have) taken a picture of the testing procedures on the wall to post here.
It's normal human nature to flush the toilet/clean up any mess - but like stated above, the water is dyed and you just have to remember to not flush while you're in there.
Even after 20 years of being subjected to testing, it's still a weird experience.
Never ever leave the facility, always check the paperwork, verify integrity of your specimen.InTooDeep, Bud A. and austinmike Thank this. -

I know what you’re saying, hand…but I REALLY hate those posts where some rookie completely ruins his/her career by doing some seemingly insignificant Dufus act, and end up with a refusal and a mandatory SAP.
Let’s laugh at OP for dripping on the floor and tell him embellished tales of those infamous last 3 drops. After all, he’s learning.201, kemosabi49, Bud A. and 1 other person Thank this.
