If the company provided the truck, picked the freight, and told you when to work, then the trucking company misclassified you as an independent contractor, instead of W-2 employee. Mention that to the state labor board and the US Internal Revenue Service. Make sure your self-employment taxes, state income taxes, are paid in full, not just no state office has asked for the money yet. If you report the employee misclassification it may be discovered that you owe unpaid taxes.
If you know any other drivers trying to work for Chicago 1099 companies you should warn them away from it.

You can, more than likely, kiss your $2500 goodbye. You can try the IL Attorney General’s office, but not much will probably come from it.

Thanks everybody for your advices finally I received my escrow yesterday. I learned my lesson and I will be more careful with new possessions. And I have to fight to the other piece of my cake, that’s so bad if they thinking I’ll be calm and not make them famous for not paying my full money back.
