Never mind all else.
The way a loyal employee was treated after being shot several times on company property tells me all I need to know about the ethics of this company.

 

Yep, I started there in Sept of '19 and was shot in March of '22. I went back in Nov of 22 and worked there until March of '23 when I just couldn't take it anymore.

What really sucked was that at first, they really were great. They paid to board my parents dogs so they could come stay with me in the hospital, they paid for a nice hotel room for my dad so he could take MY dog, who was with me when I got shot, somewhere in the evening since you can't have animals in the hospital. That part was really nice. Unfortunately, that all stopped after 11 days. Then the REAL ######## started. It was what happened LATER ON, without me even knowing about it and only finding out because another employee called me to tell me, that made this company suck really really bad.

 

Lots of liability there, IMO.

 

I would like to point out that yet another lie I caught them in with regards to this was that the director of maintenance told me he PERSONALLY unloaded my truck. Well, one of the few things I got back was my dashcam, although the charge cable and mount were gone. I was able to retrieve the footage, and it was on when the truck was moved from the yard into the shop to be unloaded. I could see the day it happened, one month and one day after I was shot, and I could see WHO did it because when he pulled the cam off the dash, it activated the "crash detection" feature of the dashcam. That meant the video was never going to be erased. I could clearly see that not only was this guy not around anywhere when the truck was moved into the shop, hes not the one who removed my dashcam, either. When the guy went to pull the cam off the windshield it spun around on its mount so I could see his face. So the guy who CLAIMED to unload my truck is not the one who unloaded the truck.

What's REALLY strange is when I showed a screenshot of the video with the guys face to everyone, NOBODY knew who this guy was. That place creeps me out.

I could go on and on and on about this company. Anyone who wants to know more, just shoot me a DM.

 

This “vanzant” character sounds familiar,,, wasn’t he notorious for screwing up a few other companies?

 

If they wouldn’t let you fuel north of Tennessee, I’d just run that MF’er as far as it would go until it ran out, and let them figure it out.

 

I’ve seen more than a few instances of stupidity by their drivers… they pretty much give Super Ego and Western Express a run for their money.

 

47 cpm? If they don't have super benefits and lots of other goodies I'd stay away from that bunch.
