Whoah!! These are the kind of loads that I like! You think COTC is better than Melton? I heard they're a decent company.
-
How about $110k a year at walmart and they get good time off.
Or LTL like this guy for example
Starting at xpo on dec 2nd in North Carolinanextgentrucker Thanks this. -
Still liking it at COTC?
-
Is COTC changing rapidly like the other Daske companies? What's up
-
Can't say. Had to get off the road due to family emergency.
nextgentrucker and Walk Among Us Thank this. -
I've been looking into them. It's not so much that it's a Daseke company, it's a tfi company. No more minty green trucks, they're white with tfi branding, just replace the tfi text with Central Oregon. Trucks look the exact same as EW Wylie, Coastal, Contrans, TForce, Transport America, etc etc etc.
Apparently it's still under the management of the family, but that only goes so far.Last edited: Aug 5, 2025

If you wanna see about COTC, just watch JoeSeppi on Youtube.
He documented 2 years working there, but has since moved on to local.
Pretty entertaining guy showing life on the road as OTR flatbedder.nextgentrucker, Lonesome and JohnBoy Thank this. -
No, don’t even consider going there if you are smart look at some of the other posts of drivers that actually went to orientation and left orientation because of how inadequate the training is and how a lot of drivers are leaving because the pay and miles they are being cheated on. I myself went to orientation there and left on the third day because of their treatment of one driver and the fact that they have very inadequate training at all in regards to flatbed it’s a very low end flatbed company now that it has been taken over. it’s no longer what it used to be last year or before all that so if you’re considering it, I would consider Melton instead or any of the other well-known good companies that have good reviews from drivers.needanewjerboutwest, nextgentrucker and Lonesome Thank this.
