I'm using trucking to save up money, but eventually would like to go back to college.
Anyone who works for Estes, or similar LTL companies: would there be time for online classes?

Most LTL jobs will have you using up all your available hours. 14 hours of work per day doesn't leave much quality study time left.

Depends on how bad a person wants to get to their goals. Some people are fine on 6-7 hours of sleep and then working 12-14 hour days. Walmart will pay in full for a college education on certain degrees. A younger person should be able to pull this off just make sure you're getting a useful degree.

Been around LTL a long time. Linehaul hours will vary more than most of the city gigs depending on run. But you should plan on 55 to 70 hours per week usually in 5 days. Generally fit a full 40-48 hours off from end of shift Friday evening/Saturday morning or afternoon before you start back at the first of the week. Even teams n LTL tend to get a full weekend though it may be more of a Sunday into Monday night setup. I’d also add that city or linehaul your start times can be all over the map. Generally don’t get regular hours till you get some seniority which will vary wildly on the barn you run out of.
