You put those children in danger by forcing your way in front of an 30k pound vehicle can't stop like a car does. Also, if the truck was speeding than you were too if you were able to jockey to the pole position.

If you cared about your children's safety you wouldn't have played games with the truck. Using your children as a shield is child endangerment and you could be criminally prosecuted for it.

I don’t see the problem. He isn’t hogging up the Monfort lane, just an educated guess, your husband was driving like a total entitled moron, and didn’t get his way this once. So you come here to complain. Guess what, I’m batting for the driver. You do NOT own the road. If he was driving 10 over, stay behind him and drive 9 over for a couple miles to give him space. Smile at your family that is still alive, then stop at McDonald’s to celebrate being a big boy/girl.

Lady you and your husband need to learn how to drive. Also to use your brain. Do you truly think it was a good and safe way with your children , to speed , to try and pass an 80,000 lb giant truck , to get to an exit? Why would any sane person want to do that? Speeding is not a healthy thing. And remember you had the lives of children you were responsible for. Just to be able to cut in front of the semi. WHY? What gets to me the most is you coming here like a snitch thinking it was the Driver's at fault, instead of having a moment of clarity such as ..you or your husband i guess, thinking WHAT A moron move I just did, I need to think about my driving and clean it up before I kill my kids.

So, you were already exiting, and, what, he wouldn't let you turn onto the side road? The picture doesn't support your claim, honey!

So, working under the assumption that you are either only partially literate or that you get "exit" and "entrance" ramps confused, I'm assuming that what you really meant was "my husband was trying to get off the ENTRANCE RAMP as he wouldn’t give us any room and was going 10 miles over the speed limit." Am I right?

Going ahead with this assumption, the first thing you need to know is that VEHICLES ENTERING AN INTERSTATE ENTRANCE RAMP MUST YIELD TO TRAFFIC ALREADY DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY. Pretty simple to understand. All he had to do was slow down a little and let the truck pass. The truck was under ZERO obligation to move over for your impatient bully husband, nor is it even proven that he had a clear lane to move into! In fact, it kinda sounds like he didn't, so he sped up a bit to give you a space so that your husband COULD enter. Also, why was he trying to go "10 miles per hour over the speed limit" while still on the ramp? That not only implies that your dunderhead husband does not understand BASIC traffic rules, but he's also reckless. Wow, what a dangerous driver he must be!

Furthermore, I fail to see what Grate Dane Trailers has to do with any of this, Great Dane is a manufacturer of trailers for sale to the trucking industry. They have sold millions of trailers over the last century, and have absolutely NOTHING to do with the operation of those trailers once they are sold. Maybe you should've also impugned the name of the Goodyear tires or the Love's diesel fuel too.....

Well, there was enough idiocy going around from everybody involved in this situation, but, hey, your husband stated it all, then endangered all of the rest of you as well. Seriously, please post your information here. Maybe somebody from Georgia CPS will read it and get your kids into a 'safer environment'......In the meantime, go to your local Georgia DMV, pick up a free copy of the state driver's manual, and READ it.
