Does it require a permanent location or will they let one use it OTR?

My mind went to all the small towns around Ottawa that might have houses for sale on the cheaper end of the spectrum. That’s how my brain is wired. Lol

I’m going to look into them. I was paying $45 for Spectrum and price was supposed to be locked for a year. That lasted 2 months and now is $70. I dropped the cable part with them for the same bs.

I think they work anywhere you have good cell phone reception.

My roommate has it 125mpbs avg. She hasn't had any problems a lot more reliable than the local cable but I guess it depends on your area.

Have you checked out Lone Mountain? I've been thinking of getting one from there. Right now they're inventory is kind of low.

that’s what i initially thought. I have a little money saved up and i was going to pull what money out of my 401k i had since obviously i wouldn’t be contributing anymore when i go 1099(about 10 or 11 grand). The problem is, the way the 401k is set up, unless you quit or go to 1099, you’re not allowed to pull any out (personally i think that’s ridiculous, it’s MY money in there, not anyone else’s). And you have to go 1099 before they can pull it out.
